A few jam pics

Samuel Dahl at the very first jam session hosted by Peter Nylund. Besides this 1974 Emmons p/p Samuel also plays a Carter D10, a Sho-Bud LDG and an AWH pedal steel.

Jani Sandvik playing his own creation, a loaded D10 with 8 floor and 7 knees. Not bad for a first guitar. Now Jani is playing an even more loaded Williams D10 with 9 floor and 9 knee levers.

Håkan Backman from Vörå has been inspiring a lot of the steel players in Ostrobothnia. Here he is playing his GFI SD10 at the first jam. Håkan also plays a Carter SD10 and an Emmons LeGrande II SD10 .

Steel guitar jam in Vörå. From left to right, Peter Nylund, Roy Rabb (playing guitar at this jam), Håkan Backman (host), and Samuel Dahl.

As most of us steel players know, black sounds better. Jani Sandvik does not agree.
